Idaptive is among the top three highest scoring vendors for every use case in the 2019 Gartner Access Management Critical Capabilities Report.

Critical Capabilities

Gartner recently released the 2019 Critical Capabilities for Access Management report. The report comes along with Gartner’s annual 2019 Magic Quadrant for Access Management[2], where Idaptive was named a Visionary. In this Critical Capabilities report, Gartner evaluated the products and services of 14 vendors in three critical use cases—Workforce Users Accessing SaaS, Business-to-Consumer, and Business-to-Business—and Idaptive scored amongst three highest scoring vendors, in every use case, less than a year after we spun out of Centrify as an independent company.

We believe this excellent result reflects the breadth and depth of Idaptive’s powerful Next-Gen Access platform. Idaptive addresses organizations' most pressing identity and access challenges and enables them to implement a Zero Trust approach to security. Taken together, we believe Idaptive should be on every organization’s shortlist for consideration, across every use case explored in the Critical Capabilities for Access Management report.

The Gartner report puts emphasis on the importance of access management, saying that “Centralized authentication, single sign-on, session management, contextual and adaptive access, and authorization enforcement are among the critical capabilities for access management tools. Security and risk management leaders should prioritize these features during tool selection.”

We believe that as leading innovators in adaptive access — it’s in our name, after all — we couldn’t agree more.

BUILT FOR NEXT-GEN

The report recommends that companies “Prioritize a SaaS-delivered AM strategy over existing software-delivered AM for addressing workforce, B2B and B2C use cases,” something Idaptive was literally built for. We constructed our platform from scratch in the cloud as a fully integrated Next-Gen Access Management solution. We are also proud that all of our technology is built in-house by the same IAM architects and engineers — not acquired products from different companies and different architectures.

We believe that this excellent result highlights the deep technical expertise that makes the Idaptive platform one of the best ways for organizations to implement a Zero Trust security posture. We also believe that this report further underscores our relentless pursuit of product innovation.

As we look towards 2020, Idaptive will continue to innovate and hone its services to ensure we build on this impressive growth and maintain our steady rise among core SaaS access management platforms. This report serves to reinforce our belief in the strength of our platform and product.

CHAMELEON-LIKE SUPERPOWER

If Corey could have any chameleon-like superpower, it would be the chameleon's tongue, which is ridiculously fast. Some of the world's smallest chameleons have the world's fastest tongues. In automotive terms, the tongue could go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a hundredth of a second! “I would be able to complete webinars in 4.5 seconds instead of 45 minutes!”
